Site Updates, Events, and My Myeloma Diagnosis

Hey everyone! I’m sorry haven’t blogged or posted on social media in a while. It’s been a rough few months. Last year pretty much all of my waking hours outside of work (when I wasn’t studying for certs or taking training courses) were spent on my blog/website and related social media. The Free Training Page Got a Makeover

First, a little background…I’m an entry-level Incident Response Analyst trying to learn all things DFIR on a limited budget. I created the free training page to try to help others who were in the same boat. After seeing some comments and questions about it, I realized that just having a long list of training wasn’t all that helpful to complete beginners to IT who were interested in the Digital Forensics & Incident Response field. Hello and Welcome to my Blog!

I entered the DFIR field in May of 2019 and created this site to document the resources I use as I learn and grow in DFIR. I’m hoping it will help others who are interested in the field or who are also just getting started. Under DFIR Resources, you will find books, training, webinars, videos, and other resources that I have found to be helpful. There are also over 400 training courses listed in the Free and Affordable Training sections. This is a personal blog and all views are my own.
